Moved to Tumblr!

Happy 2014!!! How are you?! :) So umm, I'm here to tell you that I have moved locations and finally figured out tumblr. I may come back here, but not really sure since I'm still experimenting with Tumblr.

Here's the link! :http://xraynewolfwritingx.tumblr.com/

Have a good one!

Random post yet again

Hey all, how are you today?

Things on my end have been stressful. School is kicking my butt so I haven't really focused on the writing as much. Hopefully this weekend when I finish some of my Japanese Language homework for Monday- I can get to work on some of the writing. :) As for NaNo, well its a very slow process.. With school going on, I think I'm in a halt on the project.. I wanted to win this year, but I think I can handle not winning this year since school comes first, is that okay?

Happy November and NaNo everyone!

What's new with you lovely people? Me? I'm attempting NaNo for the third time this year with a weird novel. Now mind you, I didn't originally wanna do this till I was able to feel the vibes of being able to write 'erotica' or the actual in depth romance within the story, but I wanted to give it a try this year and see if I can win this year. :)

My novel is called "Hypnotic Puppet", its a paranormal-romance, and yes it will be posted on watt pad. Normally I would post stuff on fiction press, but lately, I'm beginning to feel weird about it and I'm not so sure about what's gonna happen when it comes to publicly showing my works. ._. aii the world of doubt entered, apologizes..

But, other than that things are decent here. Just have to focus on school work as well :P

Hope you guys are enjoying your Halloween and beginning of NaNo.

Good luck~

Back again, NaNoWriMo warm up.

Hey everyone! I know I owe you all a giant apology for not blogging as much, but life got in the way and I haven't been able to remember to post different blog entries for here. So please allow me to explain what has been going on lately till now.

1.) School: I graduated Community college and transferred into a Suny school to finish up my education. :P woo one and half years to go since the semester is almost half way done already hahaha..

2.) Writing: Yes I have been writing, slowly but yes I have been writing. Believe or not, I finished the first draft to "Masks of Judgement" after four months of going crazy with it. And now, I'm currently beginning a new project call "Angel Dust", its a paranormal-romance story much like my on-going trilogy (the one with "Masks of Judgement" in it), however its based on pirates and a fictional world filled with mysterious creatures and a storm that shatters a person's memory every year when it comes around at a specific time. Thanks to this new thing created by Kat Zhang and Savannah J Foley call "NaNoWriMo Warmup", it will help my story will reach the 25,000 word goal that they placed for this whole month. (So let's hope I can reach it while in classes, haha..)

3.) Life: I don't know what it is lately, but I been unknowingly digging myself a hole of weird depression and I'm slowly getting back into the 'norm' of life and experience it the way a twenty year old should honestly. It's stressing me out and it's reflecting on my studies, so hopefully things will go better from here on..

From the bottom of my heart, I apologize for not blogging the way I should be as a writer. I promise I will try my hardest to keep up with this blog and inform you all about what's going on with ANGEL DUST. I hope you all have a great day.

Life is nothing but weirdness

I get that I haven't been on here lately, but things have going on in life. I'll be blunt, I haven't been writing, I been trying to figure out live while dealing with the last semester of community college. I'm also debating on whether or not to move this blog to a different website because I haven't been on here in so long.

I don't know yet, but I really like the fact I can hide from people, well expect when I have to face people in reality.. I can't stand at times, but it happens and I'll have to learn how to get over my shyness and fear of people making fun of me one of these days.

Freedom! (Month long boredom)

Finally on my winter break from the college. Gahh finals are a pain in the ruckus half the time, especially with the classes my brain wouldn't get along with for the whole time. For example, I had elementary alegbra, it was a non-credited class so I can prep up for an actual math class that my major needs to take in order to graduate. Let's just say I'm glad that I passed it because Math is not my greatest subject and it will never would be.

I don't really know how the rest of my finals went yet, but hoping that I passed everything.. On the writing, due to finals, I haven't been able to work on anything, including Missing Gear (my NaNoWriMo'12 project). But, since my break is finally starting, I will get back into the world of writing.

How's everyone though? Enjoying December so far?

~Kairee-Anne Cooley

Ps: Rest in peace the little ones from the Sandy rock elementary school..

Long waited blog post pt. 1

Hey guys,

Many apologizes for the belated update on this blog, I been sorta neglecting it since school took over my life again. To be honest with you, there hasn't been so much going on lately other than the NaNoWriMo event. Maybe next year, I'll post up the bar thing of my word count for everyone to see, but since its a little too late for that, I'm not in the mood to do it.

Now the NaNo project, the new story is currently posted on Wattpad-> (Link) Its not edited, but I'm going to do that when the story is completed (first draft wise). I actually managed to get my friend Heather into doing NaNo with me :P haha, its really amusing to know another writer that lives near me and what not.. After knowing that she's a writer, I realized that most of my newer friends from Herkimer are writers too in a sense, which makes me excited ^-^

I don't know, this blog post is usually a 'blah blah', which I apologize for once more, but its mostly because of the school work I'm force to slave over with x.x meeepp....

Have a good one

Odd real life update two

Hey guys, back from the semi-dead. Happy Labor Day first off and sorry about not being on here as much.. Since my last post, I'm back in Herkimer County for my second year of school and I'm just in a odd daze within my mental progress of being in Herkimer again. As for my foot, well its healed but not fully.. I have a difficult time walking because I haven't been able to attend some therapy sessions since I started classes (And its also because I keep on forgetting to call up a place in Herk to resume therapy). But you know, we have to make due I guess.

As for writing, I haven't really been doing much of it because of school and some personal issues.. I don't know, lately I just been feel iffy with it again. Don't ask me why, but it happens. However, I been reading alot, playing some magic the gathering, watching different anime shows with Ram..

School wise, this week was bittersweet.. I love that I have my own room in the dorm, but I'm still shy around my housemates and other people around me..

Well, that's as much I can say for now, see you soon.

Page four: The next step

I get the fact that I haven't been around much to post, but I deeply apologize for it. Since the last time I wrote on here, I have been writing and dealing with personal ordeals. Over that course in time, I managed to complete a thriller novella known as "Falling Pieces". It was six chapters with a preface. Now I get that it's the first draft and all, but I was really happy with the fact I managed to get it done on 8/3/12 (Ten days before my birthday) :) I have posted it on Wattpad for promotional purposes as of today (after a little bit of editing -_- boo) as "xRayne_Wolfx" and only the preface and 1st chapter is up at the moment.

Here's the link to it ;) -> FALLING PIECES

As of right now, I'm currently debating on what story to work on. In my list of weird titles of stories, I have one other novella and probably about six (hopefully) novel-like works. I like the plots to the stories at the moment, but its weird to pick one when your practually brain-dead after trying to write the story your just finished. And since I have college coming up in two weeks, I'm a little iffy on whether or not I can complete a first draft to another story while doing assignments. But yeah, basically things are alright I believe, if not, I think I'll state something or not.

Next time I'll let you guys know what story I'm attempting to write, till then; Have a good Sunday/Monday (<- for others) and best wishes.

Page three: Character & their profiles

Aii I'll tell you what more confusing in writing other than the format of chapters and basic information. The characters. Characters are one of the most important things towards writing fiction. Creating a few characters here and there enforces a writer to embrace random people moving around in their heads. At first, a writer could be getting along with their characters, exchanging mental conversations while working on your latest novel. But at times, the characters could give you a writer's block and don't somewhat help you with your project. It's a major pain in the ass, I know, but it happens.

The matter of the fact is, your characters become a part of your emotions. Okay I know I sound crazy, but I believe they do. For example, say you are on the full-on process in writing your project for a publisher and you and your main character are synced finally. Then something unrelated to writing happens and you get writer's block. When a person gets a writer's block, it means you have take a break and restore yourself emotionally and mentally (or physically). Your character(s) also experience the halting process as well because they are tied to your emotions. In reality, you are your characters. And when you are happy or sad, you gotta let your characters embrace it so they can grow along side you.

When you describe them or try to explain to non-writers about the character histories/appearances, writers are better off creating profile sheets for them. It's like giving birth to a child, but you have to be careful in regards to not make the characters so similar to one another and/or like 'mary-sues" (which means like the same person your inspiring them from). Profiles help people read how the characters came to be before, during, and after the story/stories. Profiles give off the character's basic history, looks, family, etc.. Much like a CIA profile everyone have o.o

So bottom line, bond with your characters, embrace them, and become them somewhat when writing :)

~Best wishes, Kairee-Anne
